Starbucks Homepage Concept

The Starbucks website doesn't do the company justice. For such a prominent company in the American corporate landscape, I've always felt their website was lackluster in terms of style and communication effectiveness.

I did a total remake, centering the look of the site to reinforce corporate stability, removing the iconic Starbucks green from nearly everything except the background and logo – to make those items as the green identifiers. Re-colored the footer so that it was less prominent, and added the social media icon links at the bottom.

I also added a javascript powered "What's New" section, and expanded the "Coffee News" (previously titled Blog Posts) to include the first few lines of text so the reader could preview the article.

Overall the site is more balanced, identifiable, easier to navigate, and reinforces a stronger corporate identity than before.
