Peet's Re-Brand
I re-branded Starbucks' Coffee packaging last week, so I thought I'd do my second favorite coffee shop this week.
I wanted to punch-up Peet's packaging, adding a bit of boldness and uniqueness to the design. I used a fun handwritten typeface for the text because Peet's is a down-to-earth, friendly shop, and I wanted to reinforce that through the typography.
The bold "P" is drawn from their stylized "P" icon, and used subtly, but unmistakably, as a roast identifier as well as brand icon.
