The Cannondale line of E-bikes was a complete ground up redesign from the previous model. I was involved in every aspect of the development, from traveling across Europe interviewing countless users, to prototyping, and then followed by overseeing the final production in our Taiwan factories. Overall, we increased the stiffness by 30 percent while shaving off 2.2 lbs. from the frame alone.
