Flo - A Sustainable Kitchen
Inspired by the metaphor of a Sequoia tree, the Flo kitchen shares energy and resources in a similar way to the connected root system of a sequoia grove. Flo uses water to maximize energy conservation, reduce redundancies within the kitchen, and use a minimal amount of materials. A group of five industrial designers and one marketer worked to develop this sustainable kitchen for General Electric as an extension of their Ecomagination brand.
