I was commissioned to design and illustrate a new shirt for the New York City based Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy WORKSHOP. I illustrated the skull and surrounding elements then dropped it into Photoshop to add texture and get it ready for prepress. My background in Japanese and some lovely friends helped me workout the lettering above the skull which phonetically spells out WORKSHOP.
