Orsu - The ‘Orbital Suture Device Concept’ is a suturing device for performing the difficult and time-consuming surgical tasks of accurate suturing and knotting of tissues. It generates a set of automated movements for the arc-shaped needle, thus reducing lead time for several subtasks. The surgeon aligns the suture head through electro-mechanical controls, and simply indexes the head, passing the suturing thread through the tissues faster, with much more ease and dexterity.
