Copper Pendant Lights

I revisited the pendant lights I had designed in a previous studio.

A copper pipe brought from a plumbing supplier has been cut and shaped into a pendant light. The copper has been formed to create curved arms holding a removable LED globe.

The tops were CNC lathed and soldered on using silver solder. If I were to go into production I would press the copper into shape. Inside the copper is Beech timber that has been turned to hide the light fittings. One has been polished for a high shine finish while two the rustic pendants have been left untouched after oxidation from heating them.
