Rubbermaid held a design contest between all Newell/Rubbermaid Industrial Designers across all the companies brand portfolios. Mine was the winning concept as selected by the industrial designers.
A silicone spatula head I designed and engineered for manufacturing as a freelance project. The icons have been updated but I have seen it at Macy's, in Martha Stewart branding, and at Williams and Sonoma.
Originally a concept I did in college, I later redesigned in the early 2000's. I entered it the NASA/Emhart Tech Brief's design contest where it was awarded an Honorable Mention
