Panda NYC: Gallery/lounge right - Panda is a cafe, bar and gallery on Manhattan's Lower East Side.
In the space of a former industrial woodworking shop, my goal was to create a minimal and slightly industrial, yet welcoming, environment using sustainable materials whenever possible. The benches, bar and neon sign are of my own design.
Environmentally sustainable features include FSC-certified wood, zero-VOC paints and finishes, ventilation augmented by ceiling fans, and a greywater-reusing toilet.
