Role: Interaction Design, Prototyping, User Testing Strategy: Built on the insight that 65% of users only call up to 5 people on a regular basis. Challenge: As part of a 3 person team, I designed the UI and UX, prototyped, tested and specified MyFaves. The product allowed users to select five people as favorites on their idle screen. This enabled unlimited calling, and quick access to one-touch calling, text messaging, and photo sharing. The user could choose an icon or photo to represent each of the five and selected a particular person by rotating their icon around to the center using the arrow keys. Results: In use from 2006 to 2014, MyFaves was the most successful consumer application to be released by the telecoms market in the USA.
