City of Dreams Pavilion 1
Stack Trace I provides a secluded space for performance and education where the relationship between those ‘contained’ inside and those outside is reversed. Its radial plan and alternating layers of bamboo manipulate the visual permeability of the pavilion walls; people inside can observe through panorama those outside, while those outside can only glimpse in.
The pavilion is based on a synthesis of the architectural concepts of modularity and sectioning expressed through use of recycled pallets and layered sustainable bamboo.
