The initial solutions to our carry-on problem.
Combining and selecting solutions from our initial concepts we created three useable prototypes to test with our wheelchair bound users.
Our initial app design was very simple and streamlined. We didn't think much about feedback or affordances for the users. This lead us back to a new cycle of design.

Given the task of creating a carry-on bag which exhibits an universal design to aid users from the everyday businessman to the wheelchair bound in their daily travels. The solution my team (Alex Hochfielder, Charlie Padgham, and myself) came upon combines soft good flexibility which the security of a hard good. The orientation of the openings and mobility of the rotating strap allows the bag to be used on both sides. Hence the name, AmbiPera.
