Cajón
As an avid percussionist I decided to do a small side project during my time at sixth form to produce a Cajón.
A Cajón is an instrument ideally suited to accompany acoustic sets and has cord pressed against the front to produce the 'buzz' of a snare drum.
There is a 'sound hole' on the side of the six sided instrument. Five sides of are made of 12mm plywood, with the front made from a 5mm ply which is nailed onto the frame.
