Haymarket is a heritage registered building on the corner of Campbell & George in Sydney, Australia. After 8 years on the ground floor, the store was in bad condition and no longer met brand standards. During our renovation the space was transformed to align with the character of the building and the neighborhood while gaining additional seating on the second floor.
Cost was a major challenge in this space. With a limited budget and general building repairs, such as HVAC upgrade, many design elements needed to be value engineered for maximum impact while minimizing cost.
Our shopfitter won a special award for “Best Project in a Heritage Building” at the 17th ASOFIA Conference Gala for their work on this project. - October 2011
