Surveys - For my thesis, I created a workbook and passed it out to 45 women ages 18-30 in the Columbus area. After reviewing the responses, I chose 4 girls who are enthusiastic about high heels to participate in a focus group. I also had interviews with 3 other young ladies.

Interviews - During the focus group, each person had her own opinion, perspective, and idea of the perfect shoe but collectively they prioritized which characteristics this dream heel would include. I believe the customers should be involved in part of the design process.
