As part of my Summer internship at Persistent Systems, Pune, one of India's leading companies specializing in software product and technology innovation, I worked on multiple design projects. As part of the User Experience team, worked on a proof of concept Total Tyre Inspection application for Bridgestone, wireframes of an application for Expense on Demand [an MNC dealing in handling expenses] and UX guidelines for an online finance portal. This involved reading the detailed brief of the client, understanding through literature studies the usage of the application, research about platforms on which they would run, development of scenarios and use cases, paper prototyping, user testing, wireframing (Balsamiq) and the Visual Design.

Enhancing the Curiosity of People
We (team of 4) are working on a unique educational application through which we aim to enhance curiosity in people, especially college students and working
people. We are in the research phase - literature study and collaborative research. For the user research - we are trying a new approach of maintaining a blog site- where we post something of a small story (say one on my childhood curiosity explorations) and encourage people to comment on it with their own thoughts and experiences- this will lead to cross questioning, discussion and gathering of very useful insights. Parallel to this we are reading research papers dealing with the subject of curiosity.
