Balls? - A render that came out of a series of experiments with materials and lights, and also shadow formations. Realism in 3D means huge render times, so i tried using lights and different materials to gauge efficient render times for animated sequences.
Mecha Leg - Inspired by a compositing showreel that i happened to come across on the internet, i decided to try and composite a 3D animated Transformer-esque character walking in a a live action video of a road or park. Had to put the project on hold as i couldnt get an HD camera from college, or a rigging artist who would rig the leg for free.

Materials and Lighting - Again, a render test to generate a realistic environment, with the feel of natural lighting. This helped understand texturing techniques and also gave some understanding as to how various materials react to light; reflections, glossiness and shadow control.
Exit Stage Left - (Work in progress.) Set design for a short animation scripted by me, based on the instructional nature of our lives. We walk out, and we see signboards everyday. Signboards instructing us, warning us, and guiding us even when not necessary. Supposed to be a short experimental animated film.
