Moodboard - I created a children's winter sweater collection, using delicious-colored high quality yarns. Flats are done in illustrator, and the croquis are hand drawn. I was inspired by the rich colored of dreamlike images from various picture books.
Grassy cable knit - This knit swatch was knitted on flatbed knitting machine. I decorated the edge with cable and rib stitches, and added little ruffle in contrasting color for fancier look. The green yarn used here is 100% silk, and the white ruffle is wool.

Blue polka swatch - This swatch is mainly wool, except for the jacquard pattern which is done with blue metallic yarn. This swatch is made by using punch card system.

Cookie and cream swatch - This swatch's made with relatively thin yarn. On the edge of each ruffle, I put lace patterns so they are not just heavy ruffles.

Black ladybug swatch - I had fun with making this effect on the edge. This view is from the back of the swatch. From the other side, it's just regular polka dot, but since the size of the yellow yarn is so different that the actual gauge, it's trying to spill out of the swatch.
This swatch is mostly wool.

Honey comb swatch - This pattern was achieved by alternating two different colors every 3 rows, while using punch card pattern, which was nothing but rows of dots.
