Living in a student house, I am surrounded by rotten vegetables and fruit which have been forgotten about or left for 'someone else to deal with..' I began collecting the fruits and vegetables and left them on the radiator. I was fascinated when I discovered the different textures and colours that the fruits and vegetables went, and changed, on a daily basis.
I formed a collection of rotting and fresh veg/fruit, making latex moulds and finally filling with clear resin.
I further exhibit capturing the process of decay within resin blocks. I was fascinated when I noticed that the resin magnifies the vegetables, making them almost unrecognisable and creature-like.
