Flair

During my first year at Loughborough University we were given the brief to redesign a hairdryer in groups of 4.
The project included reverse engineering of an existing design, observational analysis of users to identify attitudes and behaviours towards the existing product.
This was followed with initial concept generation and early user testing with various foam models before the final product, Flair, emerged.
A CAD model was generated to show all the parts required in manufacture, materials, processes and sustainability aspects were then considered, developed and resolved in continuous development.
The overall product is displayed in our 2 presentation boards.
