Calypso - An Outdoor Eating Device
For a 2nd year project at University we were given the brief: "to design an outdoor eating device which provides practical and appropriate hot (and possibly cold) food. Overall the product should be desirable to use, echo the brand Oakley and enhance the existing eating experience on location in the desert".
My main aim for the product was to provide an easy, quick, practical way of producing enjoyable food in harsh conditions without requiring need for separate catering team or additional resources. It was also imperative to understand the brand, Oakley, and ensure the brand identity was clear through the design of the product and its associated branding.
