Tantour
Tantour is a headdress that was popular in the Eastern middle during the 19th century. Middle Eastern queens use to wear tantour. The most splendid tantours made of gold reaching as high as 30 inches and it was held by ribbons tied around the head and a silk scarf was around the base with a white veil attached to the peak. It was a customary gift presented to the bride by her husband on their wedding day.
