TREND enterprises June 2017 Full Line Catalog Cover. Probably one of my favorite cover designs I've done with TREND. I pushed for more of a "lifestyle" image as leadership was requesting products featured on this cover. The photo I sourced of the girl giggling with a butterfly on her nose reminded me of our alphabet Pocket Flash Cards featuring a butterfly for "B." The photo of the girl does not have any hands or cards in it...that's where some Photoshop magic had to happen, as often does when creating the perfect cover image. I used photos we had of kid hands from another project and repurposed them with the flash cards for this image. Art directed the help of production artist to color correct and alter the girl's clothing and background to meet corporate objectives.
