Osmo Vanska Bobble Arm Caricature Doll - This illustration was a design for a bobble-arm doll that was comissioned by the Minnesota Orchestra as a promotional give-away celebrating their new conductor, Osmo Vanska. The final doll featurd a button you could push to hear music, and his conductor arm bobbled. Illustration is in pencil and colored in Photoshop.

Vector characters were designed to be easily manipulated and repurposed throughout the book with minimal "re-drawing" time. Fire Hydrant - This illustration was done using pastels on drawing paper. It's an old favorite of mine and now I can do this style of illustration using Photoshop. The feather on the hydrant is a UW-Stout icon: a large metal feather that belongs on top of the Bowman Hall (in the background).
