I was the sole student allowed into SDSMT's mechanical campus to work on prototyping and manufacturing filtering masks to relieve hospital workers and people at risk. The initial design was based off the "Montana Mask" with a removable filter that allowed the mask to be reused by swapping out smaller sized filtration material.
