The UVD Robot has been developed to tackle one of the biggest challenges faced by healthcare institutions worldwide: Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs).
The impact of HAIs has increased over the past years, and more than 700.000 people are effected yearly in the United States, while in Europe HAIs account for an estimate of 17.000 deaths per year.
The UVD Robot 3rd. Gen. applies state-of-the-art technology such as autonomous navigation, advanced sensors and an integrated communication system in combination with a proven disinfection solution to change this scenario.
