An idea inspired in the nature transforms into a design object to create a pleasant ambient and experience that combines aesthetics, color and shape but at the same time simplicity.
The human being is always related with the light, the way that it makes feel the people and the atmosphere it creates, that’s what my design tries to communicate. So, I create an ornamental vase; according to the theme “shine” the concept was based mostly on the sun represented by the round shape, the angled lines represent the sun rays and the parts painted in gold represents luxury and brightness. The round middle circle is made with a minimum thickness of material so it can be translucent and to allow the light break through the porcelain and it reflects kind of light and shine at the other side of the object.
This flower vase was designed for the "Franz Award 2016" (Franz Collection).
