Yucatán Country Club - This design features the sisal (hénequen) plant as a main device. Sisal was the reason for the wealth that spread through the state in the last two centuries. The plant was used around the world for making rope, and many families became rich. Much of the “old money” remains, so it seemed only fitting that a trace of the cash crop is seen in the logo for this club, which caters to exactly these wealthy people.
