The inlaid pattering of this flexible silicone candle holder creates colorful wax lace abstracts from the refuse of a drip candle.
This product was designed as part of the 'Lace in Translation' exhibition at The Design Center of Philadelphia University featuring the work of Cal Lane, Demakersvan and Tord Boontje. All pieces featured are contemporary updates on an ancient craft and challenge the making and meaning of lace.
