This is no ordinary candle, it contains a secret. That secret is held in suspense as it is slowly revealed through the process of melting. Once the candle has run its course, the figure is left standing.
The materiality is simple: molded pewter figures set in paraffin wax using flat braid cotton wicks.
Kurio was designed for Kikkerland Design, who sponsored the project, to fit within their current product lines.
