COCOON - Cocoon is a small, light-weight, inflatable mini tent.

standard hand pump or the gas cartridge supplied and can be erected quickly and easily by one person. Self-explanatory design and usage.
Use:
The tent can be used not only for leisure activities in the fields of sport and travel but also in rescue situations and disaster areas.
Design:
Similar to an insect cocoon. The tent's design reflects new areas of application. Translucent airbeams allow daylight into the tent. If necessary, fluorescent tubes (safety lights) can be used to illuminate the interior of the tent at night. The outer shell is made of multi-layer sheeting which is particularly conspicuous due to its color.
The tent is insulated against low ground temperatures by its base sheet which is designed as an inflatable mattress.
Production:
Owing to its well-conceived basic structure and its single-part design, the tent can be manufactured in one single cycle.
Application and utilization benefits:
High mobility of the product owing to its minimum transport volume and weight. Simple erection in three steps: roll out the tent, inflate the pneumatic structure, fold up the airbeams.

Material efficiency/environmental compatibility:
A 100 µ thick PU sheet is sufficient to give the tent a high degree of stability. Only the base has a more robust, fabric-reinforced sheet in order to prevent damage to the tent if erected on uneven ground.
There are no rigid rods to hold up the tent, this is taken care of by the inflated airbeams.
