While the competition had advertising with TV shows and commercials (Max Steel and Action Man), the GI Joe brand did not. How do you compete? Show adventures on the back of the packages similar to what used to come with the original GI Joes. I wrote and blocked out the panels for these. The work paid off... GI Joe sales were stronger than Max Steel or Action Man.
