OAKWOOD BUNGALOW Flat Roof Extension Northumberland
The owner of this bungalow approached us to transform the single storey dwelling into a generous 4 bedroom family home.
The existing bungalow was built in the 1960’s and had become severely outdated for modern family life and had fallen into a poor state of repair.
Our solution was to introduce a full width dormer and replace the conservatory with a contemporary flat roof extension featuring large sliding doors, floor to ceiling windows and a huge roof window.
The house now has a stronger connection with the outdoors and takes advantage of the available natural light. The new spaces and open plan layout make the house a joy to live in and use.
