Dispossessed: event poster - Butoh is a post-war Japanese dance art movement where performers use disjointed and disconcerting movements to respond to their surroundings. With a short deadline, no budget and no principal photography I used a typeface of crudely rendered figures, varied their size and placement to indicate depth and applied various filters to create an out-of-focus/scene seen through a scrim effect.
