Ignite is a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) Developed by AIR Music Technology to make getting musical down as fast and intuitive as possible. Envisioned as an audio sketchbook, Ignite does away with intimidating level of complexity associated with most DAWs, instead focusing on being simple and fluid, allowing creativity to flow.
Working on Ignite, the goal was to create a tool that was simultaneously easy to use while remaining surprisingly powerful. The non-linear editing canvas allows for the quick recording and arranging of ideas, and the extensive export features allow you to refine your sketches with favorite audio tools. My role in the project included development and refinement of the user interface, developing workflows for new features, design of the logo and software branding, and the visual design of marketing assets for launch.
