When we moved to our Portland house, we had chickens in tow, and wanted to maximize their wandering space while incorporating storage and a coop. I designed and built this coop over the course of 2 months, building the plans in Illustrator, and building all components in my garage. The run was tall enough for an adult to enter, there were removable trays under the roosts to collect droppings, and the space under the storage cabinet could be sectioned off for new chickens joining the coop.
