The focus for the two projects in this unit is to explore and understand the interaction and relationship between the product and the user. This brief is to design a small, portable camping stove. Essentially this is a mobile unit that will connect to an off-the-shelf camping gas canister. The camping stove must be capable of supporting a pan, can or mug, that can then be filled with water/liquid and heated by controlling the flow of gas to the burner. You can define your particular target market/user although as this product is about portability you need to consider aspects of storage and transportation – particularly if the product is still hot.
