Bucky Sustainable Lighting
Bucky Sustainable Lighting - Bucky is constructed of 102 glow stick tubes, nearly 100 wire hangers, telephone wire, 30’ of lamp wire and light fixtures. It can be hung in a line, on the ceiling, mounted to a wall, draped on the floor, or all of the above. When lit, Bucky emits a deep contrast of light and dark, playing with light amidst its shadows, strong lines, and negative space. Bucky is named for the master of the geodesic dome from whom its cages received inspiration, Buckminster Fuller.
