READ: It's FUN - A voluntary 3M X 8M mural done by my friend Yihua and me for Marsiling Primary School. Concept and painting by the both of us.
Difficult as it was, we had a lot of fun, especially with the kids who loved coming up to us and asking us about painting and art. We both learnt A LOT, and were pretty proud of the fact that we might have influenced a lot Marsilian kids to delve into the world of art!
The school was so pleased with it they let us to work on a second mural right across this wall.

Like the first one, it was about the wonders of reading. However, this time we went for a more abstract concept, about how reading can open up wondrous new worlds for us to discover.
But really, I think we got more out of it than the kids :)
In short: an absolutely exhilarating experience interspiced with pangs of sheer agony, frustration, and disaster!
