Toy Scales
A set of toy scales that encourages good behavior through a reward system that also introduces young children to the concept and value of money. This system works by using 2 pence coins as a reward for good behavior. The 2p coins will buy them as many sweets (or substitute) as balances the beam when they are given the opportunity to trade by teachers or parents.
The pivot is off-centre at a point which allows 10 x 2 pence coins (70g) to balance against 100g of sweets.
