The concept behind this project is that of utilizing wasted energy by everyday gestures and converting it into a much more desirable form.
There have been countless endeavors to provide clean drinking water to the developing countries of the world. What makes this concept unique is that it embraces the fact that the majority of the people in these areas work incredibly hard to acquire their drinking water, however unsanitary it may be. Safi rewards these people by offering a way to passively filter and sanitze the water they are working so hard for. It gives them the satisfaction of knowing that all of their physical exertion is not going to waste and that they will have access to clean drinking water much sooner and much more often than they would by other means.
