BADALICE, suspension lamp | ZEROOMBRA srl

Qualities of LEDs are well known: tiny, energy saving, long lasting light sources. What inspired this lamp is a defect, indeed: leds are lighting in one direction only. So the goal was to create an omnidirectional lamp out of little spotlights. What came out was a self wrapping aluminium belt, directing a soft light 360° around, made by laser cutting and bending, it's a mutant sculpture: depending on your point of view, you got a new lamp every day. A good money saver!
