It was the beginning of March 2012, when one of my friends (an Art Director), called me up to ask if I was ready to take on a FREELANCE ASSIGNMENT from a very good Client of his - LAKHANY SILK MILLS. Since I had already worked on this Account during my employment tenure at Orient McCann-Erickson, I agreed. The task involved writing an Article on LAKHANY SILK MILLS and their efforts at boosting the Fashion Designers and the Fashion Industry in Pakistan. Along with this also came the request (as is usual from Clients), to give the Article a 'COMPANY PROFILE' look! I went ahead and JUST DID IT! The Article that was initially published in just TWO Fashion Magazines received rave reviews that the Client went ahead and had the same Article published in TEN MORE Fashion Magazines. There was yet another challenge waiting for me - I had to CHANGE the CAPTIONS for EACH Publication!
