Design For Manufacture
Design for manufacture involved selecting an every day product that consisted of no more than three components, and redesigning it in detail in order to improve the function of the product. As well as this, detailed costings had to be produced to justify the project, followed by legible quotes from manufactures. In this case a compact mirror was chosen and The ‘Versatile Vanity’ mirror was born.
