Class A Modeling - Maserati Quattroporte
I chose to work on the
Maserati Quattroporte because
it is a car that has a strong
character blended into
soft and perfect shapes.
Understanding the global
volume and the shapes is
a primordial quality of a
digital designer.
Correctly place curves and
surfaces is the key to get
a no-span modeling, under
reduced tolerances.
Class-A modeling is the most
precise modeling type,
it requires great skills and
great reading of the shapes.
This is used to produce
high quality models for
prototyping and molding.
Because it is implemented
in a global process, the
file must be accurately
organized so that every
other person openning
the file can work with it.
