Helizart is a Brazilian company that manufactures hand made furniture and lighting products. As the products are primarily sold through home and illumination fairs throughout the year, the main challenges of those projects were to achieve a low cost and quick assemblage, and yet being environmentally friendly. Even though the uniqueness of each fair, with exposition areas varying from 70 to 200 sqm, innovation was achieved through replicable, reusable and flexible porticos with different sizes and heights that adapted to a given space. Built with largely available locally-produced materials by local contractors, the framework could be assembled and dissablembed in a considerable short time and with almost no waste, which significantly impacted the cost and the life-time of the structure. Several projects were developed between 2013 and 2016 from this guidance.
