(Logo for ME) developed from bamboo shoot.
The concept is evolved from the idea of Flow of water in the River Siang.
Emphasizing the first letter of the word SIANG, S, in the flow of the river, reflects natural character, and water flow reflects unity of the Hostel. This gives a very unique character to the logo.
The LOGO is simple, memorable and symbolises unity. Its abstracts the concept of beyond and powerful by the unfinished circle around the letter S. It also shows love among the hostel boarders and with other hostels.
Font used for the SIANG, IIT Guwahati word is Bold Century gothic
Color: Basically used 2 colors.
1. Red is for Happiness and Love.
2. Blue is for peace and also symbolizes water.
