Crespi bag - the design explored a simple technique of scoring and peeling the red layer of crespi to reveal the white surface beneath.
Material explorations - An exercise that involved changing the properties of a material. "Wood" which is usually considered 'hard', is converted into a soft ,cushiony object by weaving wood shavings together.
Elements of form - An exercise in understanding form where the objective was to translate a set of words( antonyms )onto two different soap dishes. The antonyms in this case were 'natural' and 'artificial'.
"Natural" was interpreted as- true to itself, normal or usual, while "artificial" on the other hand was represented as- untrue, superficial, unnecessary, and also new and unexpected
