Design details of a backpack.

VIP - NAVIGATOR, a specially designed project for VIP luggage. This is a PC(polycarbonate) luggage with print design representing the modern day globe trotter.

A mood board outlining the perspective environment for a range of backpacks design. Students and youngsters of India being the target consumer, the brand Footloose needed to have a 'funk' and active play element for its designs.

A range of short-haul bags design. The collection was aimed to 'do-more' in less. The multi-utility duffle shown in left is supposed to be a multifunctional bag. The convertible hand-carry Duffle to backpack to shoulder bag to Side sling bag also had a detachable top hood cover, which can be use as a separate toiletry pouch / utility roll. The right side set has messenger bag with transparent flaps, and drawstring enabled bottle holder; a rucksack backpack with extra flap, which has hidden pocket under side-flaps. The side side side flaps can be rolled backwards and come under the shoulder straps with SR buckles. The last one is laptop backpack with an active styling and multi-utility internal organised pockets. The bag is having a turtle shell inspired back side foam padding.

Backpacks Trims and accessory :- Details and more details. A concept design of logos and pullers for a project of backpacks. The concept was to create more human touch points with the product. Taking "impressions" as the strating point, I deduced that Pullers and logo were and important human touch points. Fingerprints were used as direct translation into raised silicon texture. Same design was also repeated as engraved impressions. A series of dotted textures were also developed to further enhance the hand-feel as an alternative.

Design of a very simple school backpack. to create a very low cost backpack without usage of any zippers. Hence the flap design, and a classic shape.
