Central Market's grilling event this year is focused on the premium meat they feature in each of their 9 stores in Texas. The aspect that I wanted to enhance was the freshness aspect, like it came straight from the butcher. To push that idea, I designed the background content for each meat variety, then screen printed each one of them on French Durotone Butcher Paper. I then took each poster and crinkled it up as if it had been wrapped around the meat, then composed and shot each dish directly on the paper. In order to translate the feeling of opening up a fresh cut piece of meat from the butcher, I diecut each poster to the edges of the paper. There are no shortcuts to the perfect dish! The attention to detail speaks directly to the high-quality hand selection and curated collection of meat and seafood at Central Market. (Work done at RBMM)
